Tracking direct website downloads of a podcast
If you run a website for your podcast and want download analytics, there is a solution as follows:
Simply prepend our tracking redirect URL in front of the hosted audio file URL (from FeedPress).
Tracking URL: https://tracking.feedpress.com/link/redirect.mp3
So this direct download would look something like this:
Important note: where “12345” is your actual feed ID. This will ensure the URL is tracking properly and counts as a download
In your CMS, this would be the download link you provide in the body of the post that you published.
