How does FeedPress count podcast downloads?

Metrics explained

Unique podcast downloads are counted on a 30-day basis, meaning they're counted once per IP in 30 days, no matter how many times the user has downloaded the media file.

Essentially, like visits vs unique visitors on Google Analytics, podcast hits vs unique downloads are based on a session delay. The 30 days number is arbitrary, given it's a standard delay for unique IPs, however, it's possible the IAB may say otherwise with their recent 2.0 podcast metrics specification.

When does the dashboard update?

The FeedPress analytics dashboard updates daily with fresh data from RSS subscribers and podcast downloads.
