What is the best way to be independent from FeedPress while having the analytics?

If you choose to remove your feed from FeedPress, you will always be able to setup a permanent redirection to the original feed. Your subscribers will automatically be redirected without having to subscribe again.

But, let's imagine that FeedPress doesn't work at all anymore, you may want another solution.

That's why we offer a custom hostname setting, so you can chose to host the feed on a domain name you own, for example feed.mydomainname.com. Your readers will subscribe to this hostname, so the day you want to change, you just have to change the DNS record of feed.mydomainname.com — you won't need FeedPress to be alive for that.
